Public Murals attract visitors, boost local economies, and strengthen city/town branding while engaging the community. The CT Office of the Arts and CT Main Street Center present this 2-part webinar, which will explore the planning, community participation, creation, and impact of public murals.

The City of Bridgeport and the Bridgeport Downtown Special Services District (DSSD) partnered to expand the DSSD’s Color It In Public Art Program, part of Colorful Bridgeport, a marketing and placemaking multi-platform campaign aimed at establishing Downtown Bridgeport as a desirable destination. This webinar will feature the evolution of the creative economy in Bridgeport, focusing on the creation and impact of over 35 murals that bring creativity, passion, and investment to the city.
